Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Video Producer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will assist the video production team in various stages of the production process, from pre-production to post-production. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a fast-paced and creative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Production Support:
   • Assist in the planning and scheduling of video shoots.
   • Conduct research for video projects and gather necessary information and resources.
   • Help with location scouting and obtaining permits.
   • Assist in preparing and organizing props, equipment, and other materials needed for shoots.
   • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for video content.
2. Production Assistance:
   • Support the video production team during shoots, including setting up and breaking down equipment.
   • Assist with camera operations, lighting, and sound recording as needed.
   • Act as a production assistant (PA) or segment producer on set, helping with various tasks to ensure smooth shoot operations.
   • Ensure all footage is properly logged and organised for post-production.
3. Post-Production Tasks:
   • Assist in the editing process by sharing log sheets and other information.
   • Support the team in being the bridge between different POCs and ensure smooth final delivery.
   • Help with basic video editing tasks, such as line up, cutting, trimming, and sequencing footage.
   • Assist in adding graphics, titles, and other visual elements to videos.
4. General Responsibilities:
   • Back up daily data on hard drives & cloud
   • Maintain organised files and documentation related to video projects.
   • Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
   • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production.
   • Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the video production team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
