Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and innovative Micro Script Writer / Creative Strategist to craft engaging short scripts for our social media skits and contribute to the broader content strategy. The ideal candidate is expected to understand the nuances of short-form storytelling, the social media landscape, and how to capture an audience's attention in mere seconds. Alongside exceptional writing skills, this role requires a strategic mindset that can shape creative direction and align content with audience behaviour, platform trends, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Micro-Scripting:
- Short-form Scriptwriting:
- Write concise, engaging, and witty scripts for social media skits ranging from 15 seconds to 3 minutes.
- Ensure scripts align with brand voice, style, and objectives.
- Content Ideation:
- Brainstorm and pitch original skit ideas based on trending topics, cultural moments, or brand campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team to refine ideas and produce the most impactful content.
- Research & Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated with current events, social media trends, and pop culture to ensure content is fresh and relevant.
- Analyze viewer feedback, engagement metrics, and other data to inform future content decisions.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with video producers, directors, actors, design team and other stakeholders in the production process to bring scripts to life.
- Provide script revisions based on feedback and practical production needs.
- Quality Assurance:
- Proofread and edit scripts to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Ensure that content is culturally sensitive, inclusive, and free from potentially offensive material.
Creative Strategist:
- Content Strategy Development
- Contribute to the overall content strategy, helping to define what types of stories we tell and how they align with platform algorithms, brand goals, and audience behaviour.
- Turn ideas into blueprints:
- Translate creative concepts into platform-specific strategies across
Reels, LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, and even Snap and Threads.
