As you begin your journey at the Hub, you'll quickly notice that we operate with minimal rules. However, the few rules we do have, we take quite seriously. One such rule is our 'no follow-up' policy, and the other is everyone's participation in our Tuesday and Thursday weekly catch-ups. The rationale behind this is straightforward: our interactions throughout the week are limited and we want everyone to stay up to date with whats going on in the organization.

Our gatherings offer an opportunity to set the week's tone, familiarize ourselves with colleagues (particularly newcomers), get updates on ongoing projects, and discuss topics central to our culture. We understand there might be days when you'd prefer to join with your video off, perhaps due to a late night or just one of those mornings. We get it, but we hope such instances are rare.

Rest assured, there's no judgment based on your attire, nor is there any expectation for you to look 'formal & professional' during these meetings. What truly matters is your contribution to the discussions.

If your attending online, our default preference is to encourage camera-on, for the remainder of the week, the choice is yours. If you experience video-on fatigue, it's perfectly fine to switch off your camera, provided you remain active in the meeting. Engage via chat, unmute yourself, or express through emojis. Your voice is valuable.

Being on video does have its advantages, especially when leading a meeting or introducing the team to external stakeholders. Body language can be a powerful communicator. However, we trust you to gauge each situation and decide accordingly.
